This page is dedicated to those who have passed through my life. I remember them with love and affection. Even now, it surprises me when my children make comments about a certain dog, knowing that they have made an imprint upon them, many years ago.
"Bruno" Kilmuir Cepheus
Bruno was lightly shown, and qualified for Crufts, and taught me so much about showing this breed. I well remember going to training classes with both him and Prinz, and people having hysterics when, after moving my dobe up and down the mat several times, I put Prinz back in the car and came back into the hall with this small dog walking "on a piece of string!!" (believe me, you should see the size difference in a show lead).

Zeus "Amazon From Russia With Love"
A lovely dog, from a well renown kennel. Due to work commitments, I sadly could not do all that I wanted with him.

My blue dobermann Tara (on the left), Bruno (in the middle!!) and Prinz (Woodbriar The Dauphin at Mikang) who came from Debbie Stansbury and who I considered to be my first "show dog".

Tara was my first introduction to blue dobermanns. With a beautiful "chocolate box" head and sweet expression, came a determined sense of "self". Despite the best steak, the juciest liver, she would only ever show in one class at a show, and that was that!!
Bruno showed me that showing a minpin could make a mockery of all that you thought you knew. This dog had springs for legs (ask any minpin owner, its a fact of life, they come inbuilt!!).
Prinz was all I could ever ask for. He loved to show, he loved to travel and he had the most wonderful temperament. He would still be showing at the end of the day, with all the enthusiasm he had shown in the early morning. If I ever decided to go for another dobermann, I would head for Debbie and Mike Stansbury.
